Byesville Rotary encourages children’s literacy

Shana Fair (right), Byesville Rotary President 2015-16, presents checks totaling $2500 to Stephanie Laube (left), of United Way. The donation will be used to provide 20 children in the Rolling Hills School District with a free book every month from infancy until their 5^th birthdays. This program is available through the Dolly Parton Imagination Library and the United Way of Guernsey and Noble Counties. During the year they serve as club president, Byesville Rotary presidents choose a special project to focus on. Shana Fair choose this project to encourage literacy and reading in young children. The funds were raised during the 2015-16 year by donations from club members.
