Byesville Rotary members finished planning for their Breakfast with the Easter Bunny fundraiser. The breakfast has become an annual event for the Byesville Rotary. Everyone attending has a good time and a great breakfast.
This year the breakfast is scheduled for Saturday, April16, 8:30-11:00am, at the Stop Nine Senior Center in Byesville. Club members will prepare a breakfast of eggs, sausage, pancakes, coffee and juice. Donation is $5.00.
Children attending with an adult are treated to a picture with the Easter Bunny and an Easter egg treat. Pictures are complementary with purchase of breakfast. Photos will be taken by Allie Beros.
Funds raised by the breakfast will be used by the Byesville Rotary to support local Rotary projects. For more information about the breakfast or to make a donation to this fundraiser, call Phyllis Jeffries at 740-638-2290.
Jay Jackson, a guest at the weekly meeting, invited club members to participate in the Byesville Mainstreet clean up on April 23. Volunteers are to meet at the traffic light at 10:00am.
Master at Arms, Rich Dair presented an “Atta-boy” award to Grizz Smith for service to the club. Smith is currently chair of the landscaping committee. The committee is working to improve the visual appeal of the Rotary Gazebo park are. Committee members will meet April 12 at the park to work on a spring clean-up that will include cleaning walks, edging beds, and putting down mulch.
Club members voted to make a donation to the Great Guernsey Trail to help support the installation of a water fountain at the Lore City end of the trail.
